Touring Villa Serrano with the
OTTER RIDE
Description of the experience
Patagonia, land of gauchos, with whom we ride through the area of Villa Serrano, in a horseback ride of 1.5 to 2 hrs. We start at the stables of the rio serrano hotel + spa. In the first part, we enter an ancient Magellanic forest, surrounded by trees of the Nothofagus species and endemic shrubs such as Calafate. We will have the option to see different species of birds. We cross a small lagoon on our horses and head towards the Serrano River. When we reach the Serrano River we can stop to take some pictures with the imposing Paine Massif in the background.
OTTER RIDE
An activity that allows contact with the horse, which has been used by generations of baqueanos and even by ancestral cultures such as the Aonikenk. The adventure begins at the foot of the Chacabuco range to go into an iconic Magellanic Forest, to appreciate the flora and fauna, on horseback we ride along the Serrano River to get closer to the confluence with the Grey River where we will observe its different colors.
