Description of the experience

There is no better way to get to know the immensity of a Glacier than to walk towards it, this is another walk that is part of Circuit W.

The day begins in the Pudeto sector to take the catamaran that will leave us in Refugio Paine Grande, from here begins the hike to the Grey Valley bordering the mountains and lakes. The type of terrain in some sections presents loose stones and mud.

The level of demand of this hike is high as we face constant climbs with a high degree of inclination and steep descents. It is certainly not an easy trail, but the view that awaits us towards the end will make any effort rewarded.

Gray Trail

The best way to appreciate the majesty of a glacier is to walk towards it. The Grey Trail is part of the well-known “W” circuit. It has an average duration of 8 hours with constant altitude variations. At the end of the path we will arrive at the viewpoint that will surprise us by the constant landslides that affect this mass of frozen water.
