FRENCH VALLEY
Description of the experience
In the Pudeto sector we embark on the catamaran, after sailing the Pehoé Lake for 30 minutes, we will arrive at the Paine Grande Refuge. From here we begin the hike to the heart of the massif. This stretch of 7.6 km (2.5 hrs.) takes us to Campamento Italiano, which will have an altitude variation between 60 and 200 (m.a.s.l.). During all this stretch we will have the imposing Cuernos del Paine in the background.
Continuing from Campamento Italiano we continue towards the end of the hike until we reach Mirador Francés. In this section we ascend 250 mts. (1.5 hrs.) between Magellanic forest and the glacier moraine. When we reach the viewpoint we will have a 360º view of the park.
French Valley
The French Valley is one of the destinations within the “W” circuit, with an average duration of 8 hours. This fascinating hike offers hikers an immersive experience in a breathtaking mountain landscape. The trail takes us into a valley surrounded by imposing mountains, majestic glaciers and rushing rivers.
