One of the most demanding excursions and part of the famous W circuit of the Paine massif. We will move to the northeast of the Torres del Paine National Park until we reach Estancia Cerro Paine, then we will begin the journey through the Ascencio Valley to reach the iconic view of the 3 Torres del Paine.

TORRES BASE
Description of the experience
After crossing the Ascencio River, we begin the ascent through one of the shoulders of Mount Almirante Nieto (2,600 m.a.s.l.) towards the pass of the winds, here we will enjoy the panoramic view of the surroundings.
We begin the descent to the Refugio Chileno, where we will have already completed 3 kms. to continue ascending, surrounded by a forest of Lengas and glacier slopes, until we reach the last flat sector (550 m.a.s.l.). After a brief rest, we will ascend about 300 mt. (1 hour) through the complicated moraine, being this the last km. of the trail. Finally we arrive at Torres del Paine and its turquoise periglacial lagoon. Scenery that turns Torres del Paine Park into the Eighth Wonder of the World.
TORRES BASE
The Base Towers viewpoint hike is one of the most popular and challenging excursions in Torres del Paine National Park, it lasts an average of 8 to 10 hours round trip, covering approximately 22 kilometers. On the trail you will be able to appreciate varied landscapes, including forests, mountains, rivers and lakes.
